Stage Play: "Lá Buí Bealtaine", by Máiréad Ní Ghráda

This is a story about two people, Nóinín and Peadar, who are now old.  They are together in the garden of a hospital for old people.  They don’t recognize each other.  The old woman is looking back at the days of her youth.  She goes to a bright May day when she met with a young man at the bog, , and she thinks about the love between them that summer. Gradually a tragic love story unfolds, the story of a love that was suddenly ended because of jealously and anger.
